For the past 1 week, streamyx has been capping speed for downloading from rapidshare.
It actually started 2 weeks ago when we first got a complain from a user somewhere in outstation. We made testing with this user and eventually can only come to conclusion that streamyx is capping the bandwidth. 1 week ago, they started to cap a lot of Klang Valley users including us. There is no doubt TMNet has capped the bandwidth. If you call TMNet, they will deny to this and will not help in anyway.
We have then instructed all our users who complained to us to lodge report to CFM and MCMC. This worked out great!! Today, we got a call from a representative from TMNet telling they have "fixed" the problem downloading from rapidshare. After we RESTARTED our ADSL modem, downloading from rapidshare is working fine again.
We would like to thank everyone who helped to lodge complain and pressured TMNet into "fixing" this problem.
